David Maász

David is a retired internet/digital serial entrepreneur turned angel investor with a global health, food and tech portfolio. He has 20+ years of experience building start-ups from scratch and taking them to international success, and 10+ years of very deep experience as an investor in early stage ventures, helping them to enter international markets, raise capital and grow. His background include being an expert to the European Commission on innovation and entrepreneurship, US Government IVLP alumnus, graduate of China Executive Leadership Academy in doing business in China, Board Member of the Chamber of Commerce in Győr, member of the Foreign Economic Committee of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Budapest, Member of the European Parliament of Enterprises in Brussels for 2 terms, as well as an independent expert to the European Commission on SME development, innovation and research. He is a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship around the world, including at the GEW, Kairos Summit and G20 YES. In 2011, he founded the Entrepreneurship Foundation Hungary, a private, not-for-profit organization, with the mission of nurturing the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Hungary. He is also the creative mind behind INPUT program of the Hungarian government.
